LocoMobi World’s Worldstream Enforcement and Citation Management Portal Module to augment the current revenue control operations at the City of Prince Rupert, British Columbia

Toronto, Ont. – Smart City parking technology leader, LocoMobi World, announces today that The Worldstream Enforcement and Citation Management Module has been added by the City of Prince Rupert. The Worldstream Cloud Portal can be augmented with the Enforcement and Citation Management Module that has unique photo-verify and ticketing features, allowing for easy enforcement of paid and permit parking. PhotoVerify provides an ultra-fast & automated solution to know which cars are not compliant. Simply use a mobile phone or tablet to take a picture of a license plate to verify whether that vehicle  has a valid permit or not or whether it has paid or not.

The citation management feature allows for complete control and reporting for issuing tickets as well as an end-user portal where the tickets can be paid.  PhotoVerify is an application within WorldStream that operates as a mobile Vehicle ID License Plate Recognition (LPR) solution. This system can operate on its own or complements Locomobi’s infrastructure of   LPR cameras as an automatic number plate recognition system with computer vision. Through the use of any mobile phone, tablet or wearable device, vehicles can be rapidly verified by automatically comparing the vehicle image/license plate to a “white list” of valid vehicles. This can be achieved at a rate of 10 vehicles per minute.

The PhotoVerify Enforcement and Citation system is now operating on over 250 locations primarily in Quebec and Ontario, but quickly expanding nationwide and south of the border in the USA. In future through MobiVerse platform offenders can dispute infractions virtually.
